Requirements

ALL RENTING MUST BE ACCOMPLISHED IN-PERSON
NOTE: Our props are not to be taken into the City of New York under any circumstances!

Thanks to a recent change in federal law interpritation, we no longer rent converted "live" firearms to anyone other than federal and NYS licensed Gun Wranglers. This is as per the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives New York City Office - Special Agent In Charge.

If you require "Live" props for your New York filmed scenes, you will need to hire a NYS licensed Gun Wragler to take legal possession of the firearms for you. There is no longer an exemption for Production Company Prop Departments. If someone tells you "don't worry about it", back away as fast as you can, and hire a professional.

Replica Non-Firing Guns and non-gun weapons:

  1. Require a written statement from the Production Company on their letterhead stating that the “Replica Guns and/or weapon(s) will be used for theatrical purposes only,” and that “Local Law Enforcement will be apprised as to Replica Guns being used.” This letter must be signed in ink by an individual authorized by the Production Company, to affirm such.
  2. An Invoice will be issued listing the Replica(s) and describing them as non-firing replica. The invoice must accompany the replica(s) at all times until return in good condition.
  3. Must be picked up by the Production Company’s designated “Gun Handler” who will be required to affirm in writing, that the props will be properly supervised and secured when not being used on-set.
  4. The rental fee in advance, payable by cash, or credit card.
  5. Security Deposit, returnable upon receipt of the prop(s) in good condition by our check.
